This post highlights some active and relative means that we use on a regular basis to build more juice to our Google Plus Local page. Since the introduction of the Google Plus Local Product, links have become more and more important. Just like Mike Ramsey said, “If citations were the new link, then links were the new citation in 2012″.
At this point you need to think outside of the traditional link building to your website and ensure you are also building high quality and relevant links to your Google Plus Local Page. I suggest that these links also contain geo modifiers such as the city & state. If you’re a plumber in Chicago, relevant anchor text could be “Plumber serving Chicago, Illinois”.
