After Google’s updates yesterday I started noticing many of my clients Rel=Author images showing up in the search engine results pages. I am happy to report that Google did not exclude me and my author picture is now showing in the SERPS. This is something that was bugging me for a while because my code was properly in place for a few weeks with no luck. Now that I have been approved I have noticed that almost every post that gets indexed immediately shows the results.
Yes, I understand that I sound like a nerd, but that’s totally OK. Did you know that in an article by Douglas Karr, they noticed a 484% click through rate improvement with the author rich snippets?
